Are you Getting Stimulus Cash in 2022?

There’s no plan for a fourth check. There. Got that out of the way.

However... Five types of people are still going to get stimulus money this year:

  1. 👨‍👩‍👦💰Families who did NOT claim their monthly Child Tax Credit payments - If you qualified for the monthly Child Tax Credit payments in 2021 but didn’t receive them, then this money (up to $3600/per child) can be claimed when filing taxes this tax season. 👶🍼Parents who had a baby or adopted in 2021 - If you added a new baby to the family in 2021 (by birth or adoption) you just might also qualify for another stimulus payment worth up to $1,400! All you gotta do is claim the money on your 2021 taxes if you qualify on the income restrictions for the third stimulus payment (maximum household income of $150,000 for married people who file jointly or $75,000 for individuals.)
  2. 😭💸Folks who had big changes to their income from 2019 to 2021 - Basically, if your income went down big time you’ll want to check and see if you can get more stimulus payments, since they were basing the checks on what you filed the prior tax year
  3. 🤷📥Anyone who qualified for but missed the third and final stimulus payment -  If you fit into this category, then you can just claim the stimulus payment on your taxes this spring and you’ll get the missing money as part of your tax return for 2021.
  4. 📮💵Families who qualify for the second half of the Child Tax Credit - Parents who received any or all monthly tax credit payments are also eligible to receive another stimulus payment in 2022. The monthly checks that were issued from July to December 2021 were only half of the total Child Tax Credit payment – You may get up to $1,800/per child if you add the claim to your taxes.

🔥Bottom line: If you’re one of the above types of people, Make sure to file on time (or early!) and, hopefully, the extra cash will make 2022 a great year!
