Calling All Agriculture Fanatics! PA's Got Grants

Pennsylvania Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding is calling for grant proposals for projects that will help boost sales of the state's agricultural products. And they've got over $300K up for grabs! 💰

Here’s Five Fast Facts on :

  1. 💡 Cash For Ideas - The PA Agriculture Secretary says the department will award up to $303,000 in funds to nonprofits with unique ideas. 
  2. 🥔 No Small Potatoes - Last year, the department awarded money to 16 different organizations. Funds went to all sorts of projects from local festivals to helping the state potato industry recover from pandemic-related losses. 
  3. 🍇 Grape Ideas - Money will be awarded for a wide variety of agricultural-related projects, including winemaking! Time to kick off your shoes and start stompin' those grapes.
  4. 🧺 Farmers Gonna Farm - Agricultural businesses in PA employ around 593,000 state citizens. 
  5. 📑 Don't Delay - Wanna apply? Click here to create an online profile and submit your application. But hurry, because you only have until Friday, August 5th. 

🔥Bottom line: $300K is a nice chunk of change to help boost the state's agricultural economy. Last year's projects were a smashing success and showcased all kinds of farm-friendly projects. May the best garage-based winery win!
