Costco is a giant wonderland of shopping for just about anything (and lots of it)! One of the interesting things about Costco is that it sells its own signature brand, Kirkland, alongside the name brands everyone knows and loves.

So when it comes to a price throwdown, how does Kirkland really stack up against the big national names? Is it worth making the switch to give your paycheck a little more breathing room—or is there a reason those big brands got, well, big? 1. 💪 Kirkland For The Win - A cart full of 17 Kirkland items came to about $215, while a cart with the same name brand items was $297. After tweaking a bit for pack sizes, it's about 37% less. Paychecks everywhere squealed with glee!

2. 💊 Good Drugs - Kirkland meds (like allergy pills) cost up to 89% less per unit than the name brand versions, so it’s like buying gummy bears instead of gold bars.

3. 🍕 King Of Snacks - Kirkland tortilla chips had a per-ounce price about 62% less than the national brand’s chips. We all know the chips are just a delivery vehicle for salsa or dip so you might as well save the money, right?
