Formula Scammers in Full Force!

They say there's no crying over spilt milk, but spill a drop of precious formula these days and you get a free pass to sob your heart out 😢🥛

The formula shortage is affecting homes across the country, so of course scammers are out trying to make a quick buck

But there's no need to fear these crooks. There are several ways to make sure you don't become a victim of the formula bandits.

Here’s Five Fast Facts on formula scams and how to steer clear :

  1. 👀 Keep An Eye Out - The most common scams are fake websites and social media profiles. Victims think the sites are real. They pay for the formula but it never gets delivered.
  2. 💳 Pay Smart - When buying formula online, always use a credit card. Any sites that ask for payment via gift cards, money transfers, or crypto should be avoided.
  3. 📦 Track Shipments - If a seller can't ship an order you paid for within 30 days, they owe you a new shipping date with a chance to cancel...or a refund.
  4. 💻 Do Your Research - Always do a quick Google search on any company you plan on buying formula from. Include words like "scam" or "complaint" to make sure they're legit.
  5. 🏡 Stay Local - Ask your pediatrician if they have formula available. Local churches and community organizations might be able to help as well.

🔥Bottom line: From unemployment benefits to funeral expenses, scammers have been hitting Americans hard this year. Avoid these latest formula scams by avoiding shady websites and relying on trusted resources. And don't spill that milk!
