Hey Buddy! Wanna Buy a Car?

Buying a car is a very stressful thing anytime of the year, but it’s even more stressful now due to supply chain issues. But don’t lose hope! When it comes to buying a car, some times are better than others!

Here’s Five Fast Facts About the Best Time to Buy a Car:

  1. 📅 Check Your Calendars - Head to the dealership at the end of the month, quarter or calendar year. Why? Dealers have quotas to meet during these time frames and they may not have met them yet.

  1. 🏖️ Holidays - Dealers often tend to offer deeper discounts on holidays, too. The strangest holiday to wheel and deal? Presidents Day. The first few months of the year tend to be slow and this can be prime deal time.

  1. 🗓️ Mondays - Believe it or not, Monday tends to be the perfect day of the week. Most people are starting their week and back to work. Traffic (no pun intended) can be slow at a dealership, so you’re more likely to get the attention you need.

  1. 🚗 End of the Model Year - The end of a model year is another great opportunity since dealerships want to get rid of those “old” cars. That means they’re usually willing to give you a decent deal.

  1. 🚘 Redesign or Discontinued Models - Much like cars at the end of their model year, dealers also want to get those discontinued and redesigned models off the lot.

🔥Bottom line: Unless you’re in immediate need of a new car, the key is patience. Bear in mind none of these strategies are guaranteed, they’re simply based on trends and data.
