Sifting through the details to find the right person takes time, and no one has time to waste. While AI presents all sorts of problems for job seekers (as we document regularly here), there are times when it can be a powerful tool to help companies find just the right people, and find them more quickly.   1. 📝 Describe This - AI is great at analyzing and summarizing stuff, so write out all of the things you want for a role and dump it all into AI. Messy doesn't matter. It'll give you a polished job description instead of a clumsy posting that sounds like it's looking for a superhero who works for free.
  1. 🔍 How To Guide - Once you have your snappy posting, AI can help you define what skills and personality an ideal candidate will have, and give you interview questions that apply directly to those skills. This will help you focus on the most important things instead of rejecting someone because they don't have 17 years of experience in software that was made last year.
  1. 👀 Comparison Shortcut - AI is already used a lot for candidate screening, and to be honest, that sucks for job seekers - it can too easily rule out great people based on tiny details! But, if you use it later in the process to compare resumes of candidates you already like, it can quickly identify differences like a digital hiring consultant!
