National Research Says Wisconsin is Most Appealing State

Americans are realizing what we’ve known for a long time: Wisconsin is being viewed as a good place to do business, raise a family, and enjoy a better quality of life; this is according to a new survey

Here’s Five Fast Facts About Wisconsin’s Regional and National Appeal

  1. 🙌 Who Participated? - More than 2,700 business owners were asked about the business climate. Surveyors also talked to 1,5000 residents of Wisconsin, MInnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Missouri, North Dakota and South Dakota AND then 1,000 other residents nationwide.
  2. 🤔In-State? - Much like doctors surveyed for TV ads, four out of every five Wisconsin residents and business owners surveyed gave the state high marks. The fifth probably moved here from Minnesota.
  3. 😎You Really Like Us - Residents in both the Midwest and nationwide ranked us and Michigan (whatever) as the most appealing Midwest states as a whole! That’s crazy!
  4. 🤗Top of the Charts - We ranked first in access to outdoor activities and post secondary education. We ranked second in access to health care and “sense of community.”
  5. 👔Big Business - Business owners said that quality of life for their workforce was the top factor for them, ranking 25% higher than any other state.

🔥Bottom line: State pride is one thing, but having the numbers to back it up is something else entirely. How our economic leaders use this data is yet to be seen, but it certainly adds something else to the package when luring in new businesses, jobs and most importantly, money.
