Power to the People! Renewable Energy Facility Breaks Ground!

Whether you like it or not, renewable energy has set up shop in Wisconsin. A new manufacturing facility just broke ground in Little Chute looking to help America make the switch to alternative energy sources.

Here’s Five Fast Facts About the New Excellerate Facility:

  1. 🔌 Fastlane - The 385,000 sq. ft. facility is owned by Excellerate, which is a division of Menasha’s Faith Technologies, Inc. They’ve been in business for 50 years with locations in Appleton, Neenah, and Milwaukee. They’re not some fly-by-night company.
  2. 🔋 Well Rounded - The facility will create renewable energy products that will support the nationwide growth of electrification. They include small scale power grids they call microgrids, along with modular building options, e-houses, and specialty engineering.
  3. 🪫 Power-ful Jobs - When completed, the facility is projected to create 200 jobs. They plan for the new building to be completely carbon neutral.
  4. ⚡ Who’s Working? - No word on when the job application process will open, but they did say they’ll be hiring for everything from entry-level manufacturing positions to engineers.
  5. 💡 Finish Line - Construction is slated to complete in Q3 of 2023.

🔥Bottom line: Excellerate is clearly taking its goals seriously and looks to practice what they preach. And new jobs added to our state’s booming economy are always welcome. But if you think people have an intense hatred of EVs, just wait when they’re confronted with the reality of EHs. We’re talking full-on nosebleed from a rage stroke freakout
