Top Cities to Find High-Dollar Hybrid Jobs

Thanks to the pandemic, pretty much any company still operating has demonstrated its ability to have workers work remotely. Many companies are now trying to get folks back into the office, but workers aren’t so thrilled about that. Let’s take a look at where to find great high-paying remote (or at least hybrid) jobs!

Here are Five Fast Facts on the best cities for high-dollar hybrid jobs:

  1. 💻 The Expectation - A new Gallup survey shows that over half of American workers with remote-capable jobs expect companies to offer hybrid work arrangements by the end of the year. Why wait?? Haven’t they been going all this time?
  2. 🔍 The Evidence - Online job searches for hybrid jobs are up over 130% in the past year. It could be a lot of searches, or just a few really desperate people.
  3. 👍 The Benefit - The “experts” say that remote or hybrid jobs help companies hire more diverse workers who are more engaged and less likely to quit. Uh, ya’ think?
  4. ❓ Who’s Got Lots Of Them? The top cities with lots of hybrid jobs are Atlanta (710 openings per 100k people), Boston (547), Washington DC (349), San Francisco (310), and Seattle (294). Hope you like a big city!
  5. 💰 Who’s Paying Big Bucks? Over 25% of the hybrid jobs in San Francisco and Seattle pay over $100k. Some other cities with significant proportions (over 10%) of hybrid jobs paying over $100k include LA, Austin, NY, and Tucson. Big cities are much better when you’re paid a lot, aren’t they?

🔥Bottom line: Finding a great job is a huge part of contributing to society and providing for oneself or one’s family. Finding a flexible job that pays well used to be a bit like finding a needle in the haystack. With this info, it’s a bit less like finding the needle in the haystack and more like just finding the haystack itself. So get going!
