PA Voters Say the Economy is their Biggest Concern

We're halfway through 2023, can you believe it? 🥴 PA voters are already looking towards the 2024 election season. A new poll revealed the economy takes the number one spot on their concerns list. Preserving democracy coming in at a close second. 🗳️

Let's get nerdy and dive into the poll's results, shall we? 🤓

Here’s Five Fast Facts on what's bugging Pennsylvania voters:

  1. 🧐 I'm Concerned - The recent poll of Pennsylvania voters revealed 30% of all respondents said the economy's the top issue for the 2024 election. Preserving democracy was the biggest issue for 28% of those polled. 
  1. 🌧️ PA's Problems - Other big concerns include gun violence (9%), abortion (8%), immigration (7%), health care (6%), climate change (4%), and racial inequality (3%).
  1. ❤️ Red Team's Worries - Out of all Republican respondents, 47% list the economy as their top issue. Coming in next was preserving democracy (23%) and immigration (12%). 
  1. 💙 Team Blue's Woes - Democrats polled say preserving democracy is the number one concern (34%). Gun violence was next at 18% and abortion at 13%. 
  1. 🥊 Cage Match? - The poll also asked respondents who they'd support in a 2024 presidential race: Biden or Trump. The results were pretty close, with 47% backing Trump and 46% for Biden. 

🔥Bottom line: 2024 is right around the corner. We'll start to see more of these kinds of polls as we get closer to the election. No matter what concern is at the top of your list, we're gonna need some solid leadership to help Americans feel safe and secure. Let's hope that's not too much to ask for.
